In Monopoly GO, prioritize shields for existing landmarks before spending dice on new upgrades, and keep a cash reserve for repairs. The Monopoly Go Partners Event can compete for those same resources, so set a dice limit before rolling.

Protect existing upgrades first

Open the board overview and check your shield charges, landmark upgrades, and available cash before raising the roll multiplier. If shields are missing and your upgraded landmarks would be expensive to repair, prioritize restoring protection over starting another upgrade.

Use available shield rewards before spending additional dice on recovery. After claiming a reward, check the shield display rather than assuming your protection is full. If a landmark has already been damaged, compare its repair cost with the cash you intend to keep for the next session.

Concentrate spending on upgrades you can afford to finish instead of spreading cash across several unfinished landmarks. Keep enough cash aside for a repair, especially if losing an upgraded landmark would leave little room to continue playing.

Plan around the event window

The supplied schedule places Rent Frenzy on November 5, 2026, from about 04:00 to 09:59, followed by High Roller from roughly 10:00 to 15:59. Treat those times as tentative and check the event display in your game before committing dice or cash.

Rent Frenzy is presented as a window for increased rent, while High Roller offers access to higher roll multipliers. Neither is a reason to spend every available die: reserve a separate portion for later and decide how much cash you need for repairs before increasing your multiplier.

Check the cash display after each upgrade block. If the remaining amount falls below your repair reserve, stop building and reassess rather than spending toward another unfinished upgrade. Leave time near the end of the event window to claim pending rewards and check your resources.

Respond to shutdown damage

After a shutdown damages a landmark, inspect the board and the repair cost before continuing at a high multiplier. Repairing may take priority over a new upgrade when your cash reserve is limited.

Do not assume a higher multiplier will solve a shortfall. It also commits dice more quickly, so reduce it if your remaining rolls or repair cash are lower than planned. Chasing a rival for repeated shutdowns can consume time you intended to spend on your own board.

Before the next session, open the board overview and record your shield charges, damaged landmarks, cash, and dice. If you also plan to buy Monopoly Go Stickers, check those resources first and keep your repair reserve separate from that decision.
