I learned the expensive way that a full bag is not a successful ARC Raiders run. I once walked away from a clean early fight carrying too many low-value parts, got pinned near extraction, and lost the blueprint I actually needed. I would rather carry a barricade than one more mediocre grenade on most farming runs.
Free loadouts are not just beginner gear. Use them to learn enemy spawns, test routes, and practice extracting without feeling forced to recover your investment. Once your route knowledge is solid, move into a dependable Renegade or upgraded Ferro. Both give reliable output without demanding perfect close-range aim. Vulcano and Bobcat shots are better saved for sudden room fights, where their burst matters more than long-range efficiency.
For upgrades, durability and rate of fire usually provide more day-to-day value than chasing flashy niche perks. In late game, Trials Season 5 can be a strong source of direction when normal farming starts feeling aimless, but choose skill tree perks carefully. Mobility and survivability are boring on paper, yet they consistently turn bad rotations into recoverable ones. Raw damage does nothing after you are caught with no cover.
