If you are jumping into Aion 2, you already know that hitting your first big milestone—level 45 via the Main Story Quest—is only half the battle. The real challenge begins when you start hitting walls because your Combat Power (CP) isn't high enough.
A lot of players make the mistake of just chasing higher-level gear, but the secret to scaling your CP from a fresh beginner up to 2400+ is all about smart resource spending and exploiting the game's passive systems.
Here is a practical, step-by-step guide to boosting your CP fast without wasting your hard-earned materials.
When you finally get enough currency to buy high-tier gear, your instincts might tell you to grab a flashy new Abyss weapon or chest piece. Don't do it.
Abyss weapons and armor are incredibly expensive. Instead, focus entirely on accessories like rings and necklaces first. They cost a fraction of the Abyss tokens but give you a massive, cumulative 30% PvP damage boost. It’s the fastest way to spike your actual combat effectiveness early on.
It is tempting to try and push one cool piece of armor to +5, but the upgrading system gets exponentially more expensive the higher you go. You will get way more CP for your materials if you spread the love. Upgrade all your armor pieces to +1 first, then +2, and so on. Keeping your gear levels balanced gives you steady, cost-effective CP gains.
Don't sit around waiting for blue-tier gear to drop. Take a lower-tier green piece of gear, max it out to +10, and then use the gear morphing system to transform it into a blue-tier item. The moment you morph it, you'll get a massive, instantaneous jump in both gear score and CP.
When you are tuning your gear, don't just accept whatever stats drop. You want to roll for high-priority stats that actually swing fights. Prioritize Accuracy (because missing an attack drops your DPS to zero), Combat Speed, and Weapon Damage Boost.
If you only look at your gear, you are missing where the real power comes from in Aion 2. The underlying passive systems are an absolute goldmine for permanent CP.
The second you hit level 45, stop rushing ahead and start clearing out the map's regional side content. There are roughly 60 Sealed Dungeons and 20 Strongholds scattered across the world. Clearing these awards you points to level up your Daevanion board. Maxing this out will easily net you over 500+ permanent, passive CP.
Don't ignore the main city. Take some time to scour the area for feathers and invest them directly into the Monolith. Every time your Monolith levels up, you get extra skill points and power up your Revelation Amulet, fueling your overall CP growth.
When it comes to your pets, spreading your points thinly across a bunch of different stats is a waste. Pick a single, high-value offensive or defensive trait and max it out completely. Turning a single trait into a massive "stat stick" gives you a much bigger power spike than being a jack-of-all-trades.
Consistency is key if you want to keep your CP moving upward every single day.
Burn Your Daily Limits: Make sure you complete your 5 daily Duty Quests (using your Command Scrolls) and always run your Transcendence dungeons. These are mandatory for grabbing the materials you need to upgrade your Arcana cards.
Pop Buffs for Bosses: If you hit a hard damage check or a story boss that keeps wiping your group, don’t just keep throwing yourself at it raw. Eat food buffs and pop Combat Speed Scrolls. Speed scrolls reduce your animation locks, which speeds up your skill rotations and lets you bypass strict dungeon enrage timers.
Getting your CP past the 2400 mark isn't about luck; it's about being efficient. Buy your accessories, spread your upgrade costs, clear those map dungeons for passive points, and you'll see your power skyrocket in no time.
