If you have been grinding through Season 10 looking for Chaos Armors, you have probably heard whispers about the Spiritborn Quill Volley Druid. And honestly, it is not just hype – this thing shreds elites in The Pit like nothing else. You are not the star of the show here; your Spiritborn merc with Quill Volley is. Think of it as your own walking machine gun, and your job is to keep it firing non-stop. I started running this setup while farming Diablo 4 Items, and it completely changed how I play Druid. You stop worrying about your own DPS and start focusing on making your companion unstoppable.

The loop is simple but addictive. You pick a Pit tier you can clear fast – do not bother pushing too high at first. The aim is speed. Jump in, pull mobs together, and let those quills fly. Elites drop the Chaos Armors you want, so the faster they die, the more loot you stack up. You will quickly realise that anything boosting companion damage is gold here. Tempering for Companion Damage, Companion Attack Speed, and even Projectile Speed makes a huge difference. Shepherd’s Aspect is a must-have, giving a big multiplier based on your active companions. Every skill you slot in should either buff your Spiritborn or help control the fight so it can keep firing without interruption.

One thing people overlook is survivability. Sure, you can hang back while your merc does the killing, but The Pit can still throw nasty surprises at you. Stack enough damage reduction and armor to tank a few hits when things get messy. I like running Blood Howl for the attack speed buff and a quick heal, plus defensive roars to slow or weaken enemies. Cooldown reduction is another big one – the more often you can pop your buffs, the more damage your companion will pump out. Resource generation also matters since you do not want to be caught without the juice to keep your skills rolling.

Once you get into the rhythm, it is almost relaxing. Pull packs, point your Spiritborn at the target, watch the quills tear through everything, and move on. You are farming efficiently without feeling like you are smashing your head against a wall. And because you are clearing at speed, the Chaos Armors pile up fast. I have had runs where I barely noticed the time passing because the loop was so smooth. If you are after quick, reliable farming and a playstyle that feels fresh compared to the usual Druid builds, this is worth your time. Give it a shot – you might find yourself swimming in Legendary Items before you know it.
