President - Partner, A.L.T. Legal Professionals Marketing Group "Celebrating 25 Years of Helping Law Firms Grow Nationwide" Greater Philadelphia Area
Every law firm deserves a customized approach to its marketing and business development challenges, and each marketing tool offers unique benefits in helping it reach its particular objectives. Knowing when, where and how to employ the full range of marketing options is critical to the success of any growth initiative. At A.L.T. Legal Professionals Marketing Group, the agency I founded in 1993, developing the optimal marketing mix for our clients has been the foundation of our success. This is true whether their goals have been to generate new clients, more revenue from current clients, establish new practice areas or new target markets.
Accomplishments
Some of the accomplishments of which I am particularly proud include:
• An integrated branding/advertising campaign that grew one law firm from 12 to 30 attorneys
• A public relations program that increased a family law firm’s revenue by 30%
• A search engine optimization initiative that saw an 83% increase in traffic
• A pay-per-click advertising program that increased click volume by 177%.
I am equally proud of some non-quantifiable efforts:
• Work on behalf of the International Commission on Holocaust Era Insurance Claims
• Client placements on Today, Primetime Live, Good Morning America, Inside Edition, etc.
• Cause marketing initiatives on issues concerning safe driving, the environment, and domestic violence.
Measuring Legal Marketing ROI
In 2015, we developed ETIOMETRIX, an analytics tool that integrates multi-channel data, giving firms the ability to ascertain return on investment by activity, attorney, office and practice group as well the effectiveness of internal cross-promotion and the degree to which “word-of-mouth” is working.
Personal
While I am the lead writer on all of the agency’s work, I remain a frustrated novelist, waiting for that publisher smart enough to recognize sheer brilliance. In the meantime, I stand on the sidelines at soccer games convinced my daughter is the next Mia Hamm.
